The OER Policy Forum is a one-day, high-level event on policies supporting Open Educational Resources (OER). Our aim is to redefine OER policies and chart paths towards building stronger open education around the world. We are bringing together advocates and activists, government representatives and educational experts from 30 countries. The Forum will provide an opportunity to exchange views and experiences with developing and implementing OER policies.
Our aim is to develop together recommendations and define paths towards further development of OER policies around the world, based on the Foundations of OER Strategy Development.
The Forum is organized by Centrum Cyfrowe as a satellite event to the Open Education Global conference: the Open Education Consortium and the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. Open Policy Network is a partner of the event.
The OER Policy Forum is organized with the support of the Information and Education Support Programs of the Open Society Foundations.
The meeting is part of the ExplOERer project, funded with support from the European Commission.
